Restrix is operated by Brigade Management, Inc. ("Restrix," "we," "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email privacy@restrix.ai.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address when you create an account or contact us.
• Content you create — the applications, résumés, cover letters, notes, and contacts you add to your job search.
• Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Messages — anything you send us through the contact form or waitlist form (your email, and any message you include).
• Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use it

• To provide and operate the service and your account.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send you transactional email (confirmations, receipts, resets).
• To respond to your messages and provide support.
• To secure the service and comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Cookies & tracking

Restrix does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our site uses your browser's local storage only for essential functionality (for example, remembering the items in your cart), and our app uses a secure session so you stay logged in.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Restrix, and only as needed to provide the service. These include Supabase (database & authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (file storage & infrastructure), and IONOS (hosting & email). Each acts as our processor under contract. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account, or by emailing privacy@restrix.ai. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal or accounting obligations.

Security

We protect your data with row-level access controls (so you can only ever access your own data), encryption in transit, and access limits on our team. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect a genuinely sensitive thing: your job search.

International users

Restrix is operated from the United States, and your information will be processed there. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

Children

Restrix is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you. Contact us anytime at privacy@restrix.ai.
